Be the first to share your memories or express your condolences in the Guest Book for Dorothy P. Royalty.
Dorothy worked with her husband at Royalty Produce market and later at B. Dalton bookstore. She helped raise several of her grandchildren while their parents worked. Most of her adult life she taught Sunday School classes. She was an avid reader and crossword puzzle solver well into her nineties. She could knowingly discuss sports, literature, politics, world events, the Bible, and many other topics. Her quiet, gentle, humble spirit masked her impressive intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom. She nurtured and guided her children in Christian paths and was a living example of what she believed and taught. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
