Antonio Garcia
74, of Chino, passed away on August 19, 2014 at home. He was born July 16, 1940 in Ayutla, Jalisco Mexico and lived in Chino for 30 years. Tony lived in Brea for 10 years prior to moving to Chino. He worked for FMC Corporations and retired after 15 years of service. Tony was an active sponsor for "Superacion de Chino". Having successfully achieved 30 years of sobriety, Tony enjoyed helping others begin their journey to sobriety. Playing pool was one of Tony's favorite pass times. He is lovingly survived by his children Veronica Castaneda, Esperanza Garcia and Tony Garcia; grandchildren Irene Alonzo, Breana Alonzo, Giovanni Garcia and Delila Garcia. Tony is preceded in death by his wife Esperanza Garcia, daughter Angelica Garcia and granddaughter Zoe Alonzo. Visitation hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel Pierce Bros Griffith in Chino, with rosary at 7 p.m. A mass will be celebrated 10a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Chino.
