SIMS, Dominic Allen
Dominic Allen Sims, age 51, passed away suddenly due to complications from the flu on December 25, 2012. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, boss, and friend, and he will be missed dearly by all. He was active in the community and a long-time member of the Elks Lodge in Duarte. He was a successful and generous businessman who worked for and then owned and operated Arrowhead Press in Monrovia, in all 30 years. People will remember Nick/Dom for his wry sense of humor and his big heart (and his epic 4th of July parties). He will leave a void that can never be filled. He is survived by his wife, Diana, his daughters, Ashley and Krysta, his mother, Delores, and his siblings, Marcie, Delores, and Charles, as well as his grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Douglass Zook Chapel of Remembrance at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Reception to follow at the Duarte Elks Lodge.
