Don was born August 28, 1961 in Chicago, IL. He was called to rest in the presence of the Lord on January 25, 2013. The Sickles Family came to San Bernardino in 1963. Don graduated as a Letterman in wrestling with Pacific High School in 1979. He also attended SBVC and received his BA at CSUSB.
Don worked as a Logistics Operations Manager for Edison Bros., Michaels, DSL, Liberty Hardware, and most recently CEVA Logistics. Don was very active in his church community, and he co-founded with his wife; The Unforgotten Ministry.
Don is survived by his wife Vickie Sickles, son Anthony, and daughter Faith all of Rancho Cucamonga; his mother Lorraine of Banning; his sister Pam Clarke and brother-in-law Jim Clarke of San Bernardino. He is also survived by his nephew and Godson Nicholas Orton of San Bernardino; his nephew FC3 Andrew Orton, U.S.Navy, and "niece" ET3 Amanda Prachanronarong Orton U.S.Navy both of Great Lakes, IL. Don was preceded in death by his father Donald Leslie Sickles, Sr.
Don's request was to "Keep it Simple"! A Celebration of Don's Life will be on Wednesday, February 13th at 4:00PM; Lifepoint Church 8560 Vineyard Ave., Bldg. 310, Rancho Cucamonga. Don requested casual attire, Hawaiian shirts preferred. In lieu of flowers, a tax-deductible donation may be made to: Unforgotten Ministry, 8560 Vineyard Ave. #410, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.
