Quenton R. Riker Sr.
88, of Hesperia California, died May 20, 2013, at his son's home in Fontana.
Mr. Riker was born February 19, 1925, in Dover, New Jersey to Orville and Carrie Riker.
He attended School in Dover, New Jersey. He joined the Army and served his country during the Second World War. After which he started a roofing and sheet metal business for fifteen years prior to moving to Southern California. While residing in California he continued to work in the construction field as a carpenter until retiring in February of 1990.
He enjoyed the outdoors fishing and hunting with his family. He enjoyed his grand children and outings.
He is survived by his Daughter Linda LaPointe, Step Daughter Mercedes Grant, Sons Quenton Riker Jr, & Jesse Riker Step Sons Pasquale Mazzulli & Emidio Mazzulli. In addition Mr. Riker has nineteen grand children and thirty great grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Mazzulli in 2010.
Arrangements are at Desert View Mortuary & Memorial Park in Victorville with viewing on Thursday 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00PM. Rosary will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:30AM with services to follow at 10:00AM Friday 24th. Internment will immediately follow church services.
