James C. Suski, 62, passed peacefully away Thursday June 26, 2014 at home surrounded by family.  Jim was born November 5, 1951 in Chicago, IL to the late Casimir and Helen Suski.  On August 10, 1974 he married Amy P. O'Brien and they had 2 children.  Jim grew up in his beloved Chicago and later attended the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point, earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications. After college Jim worked as a journalist for several newspapers.  His career continued in the paper industry working in many capacities for Consolidated Papers, Kirk Paper, and xpedx (International Paper).  Later in his career, as Vice President of Purchasing, his responsibilities included negotiating paper purchase nationally and internationally.  Jim was admired and highly respected by many in the industry.  


Jim is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, two children Meghan (Brock) Becker, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; Timothy (Alissa) Suski, San Diego, CA; two grandsons, Jameson and Preston Becker; foster granddaughter Erika Tischofer; sister Gerri (Howard) Farkash; and many loving sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday July 5, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church,2110 North San Antonio Ave., Upland, CA 91784.
