Denver Webster, 77, of Brawley, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 in Pioneers Memorial Hospital. Denver was born on Dec. 7, 1935 in Hollis, OK. He moved to Brawley with his parents as a child and graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1954. Denver proudly served his country in the US Army for two years stationed in Germany at the Iron Curtain Border and was a member of the Eminent Society of Border Legionnaires. He returned to Brawley and married Wilma Shipley in 1960.
For over 45 years he owned and operated Brawley Tractor Parts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Webster, and his sister Carolyn Shelton. He is survived by his wife Wilma Webster; his children, Lori Zarattini (Andrea) and Scott Webster (Lynn); his grandchildren, Michele, Jason, Blayze, Alisa and Alessandro; his brothers, Billy Webster (Linda) and Bobby Webster (Carol); his sister, Peggy Robinson; brother-in- law, Mike Shelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a reception at the Brawley Elks Lodge on Sat., August 10, 2013.
