The Bible describes in Proverbs 18:24 that a true friend is a person who is closer than a brother, is constant in his loyalty and friendliness, comes to the aid of his companion in distress, and gives counsel to him in faithfulness...…this best describes Isaac.
Jose Isaac "Icee" Gonzalez was born on July 19, 1969. He married the love of his life Anna Christina Diaz on March 27, 1993 and both had their only daughter Aryanna Isabel on February 15, 1996. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and God's will always came first in his life. He was baptized on July 23, 1988. He attended Calexico High School and worked as an accounts manager and salesman because he loved to meet and talk to people. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often firing up the grill or making his famous fish tacos. He loved off-roading in the desert and always rooted for his Chargers. He will be remembered for his bubbly personality, humor, generosity, kindness, loyalty and especially for helping others. He would unselfishly come to anyone's aid at any time of day. Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 401 Camacho Road, Calexico, CA 92231.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Anna Christina Gonzalez; his daughter, Aryanna Isabel; his parents, Jose and Clara Gonzalez; his sisters, Isela Caro, Claudia Quintero, Sara Rodriguez and Yajaira Gonzalez; and several nieces and nephews.
