June Trump Woodall, loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014.
She was born on June 14, 1916 on a homestead in Mosby, Montana to William and Martha Griebel. June came to El Centro with her husband, Gerald Trump, Sr. in the early 1940's and raised three children there; sons, Gerald, Jr. (Carole) of Banning, Mike (Rosie) of Imperial; and daughter, Donna Yarnell of El Centro, who survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Gerald Trump Sr. and Oliver "Woody" Woodall; brothers, Bill and Jack; sister, Nadine and son-in-law, Reid Yarnell.
June worked for Imperial County for 20 years and served as County Recorder until her retirement in 1979. She loved to play cards with her "card lady group" and was an avid square dancer. She loved to travel in the U.S. and other countries. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who always knew they could find candy and solace with Grandma June. She was active in Grace Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday school and Bible school until mobility became difficult.
Additional survivors include 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren, numerous friends and extended family.
Services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Interment will follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery.
