Thomas D. Ludlow, 70, of Imperial passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 of natural causes.
Tom was born on May 7, 1942 in Magdalena, New Mexico. He married Mary Ann (Susie) on June 2, 1963, three months short of 50 wonderful years. Tom was councilman/Mayor of Imperial from 1978-1982. He worked for Imperial County Probation Department. He was an avid Dodger fan and enjoyed accompanying his wife to bowling tournaments as well as transporting all the balls for everyone. He will be fondly remembered as the bubble gum man to everyone he met. He was also quite possibly John Wayne's biggest fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odie and Bertha; and sisters Linda and Dorothy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Susie); daughters, Carrie (Todd) and Susan (Bill); grandsons, Nick, Haydon, Bryce and Trevor; many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and friends too numerous to mention all by name but cherished just the same.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 9 a.m. officiated by his brother-in-law, Donald Anderson at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The in Tom's name.
