Wilhelm Wolfe, 48, of El Centro passed away on the early morning on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
He was being treated for hypertension and on overweight condition. Against orders from the Dr. and his mother he decided not to take his medicine resulting in my writing this obituary. Willie was born to Bud and Trudy Wolfe on November 9, 1965 at the El Centro Community Hospital. He attended Hedrick Elementary School and St. Mary's School, graduating from St. Marys in 1980. He attended Imperial High School graduating in 1984. At Imperial he played football and received a scholarship to City College in San Diego. At City College he injured his back after the injury he spent a semester at I.V.C. in Imperial Valley. He suffered for many years with his back until he was cured by Martin Castro, a chiropractor in Brawley. After the injury and the years of pain his life was not the same.
He is survived by his mother, Trudy Lueck; daughter, Deianira Wolfe; sisters, Kristina Wolfe Allen, Linda Wolfe Wells and their husbands and respective families; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the Wolfe and Lueck families.
Rosary will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday May 6, 2014 at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Followed by The Lituargy of the word at 10 a.m. and will be officiated by Father Edward Horning. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
