ALBERT S. REYES JR.

Albert Reyes, Jr., born March 17, 1936 in Chandler, AZ, passed away Friday, October 26th 2012 in his home in Yuma, AZ with his family by his side. He was 76 years old.
Albert made his living in the farming and produce industry. In his early years, he joined the Army where he served as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. On April 21, 1958 he married Barbara Weldon at Lute's Wedding Chapel in Yuma, AZ.
Albert was a hard working man, a loving husband and father; and a loyal friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Reyes Sr. and Molly Sanchez Reyes; his sister, Maryann Cornejo; his brother, David Reyes; in-laws, Bill and Bernice Weldon, all of Brawley, CA.
Albert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Weldon Reyes; his children Ted and Betty Reyes, Tim and Shari Reyes, Todd and Kim Reyes, Bill and Leslie Morin, Lisa Reyes, Toby Reyes, Tina Reyes, and son-in-law, Dean Van Bebber. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchil- dren; brothers, Edward and Louis Reyes of San Diego, CA, Jesse Reyes of Brawley, CA and sister, Lydia Ramos of Brawley, CA.
A Celebration of Life officiated by Abel Alvarez, will be held at The Elk's Lodge, 2300 South Elk's Lane, Yuma, AZ 85364 on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
