Joyce was born in Levant, Kansas on January 7, 1931. Joyce married Kenneth Reynolds in 1948 and had 3 children, Rod, Doug and Dawn Ann. Joyce was a homemaker in Calipatria most of all her life, but most of all she was an excellent mom, sister, aunt, daughter, grandmother and friend to all, she never met a person she didn't like. Joyce treasured each and every one of her grandchildren and her grandkids thought she was awesome!
Joyce loved her family deeply and they loved her back. Family always came first with Joyce. Joyce loved to cook and everyone loved to eat whatever she made. There would be motorcycle, watersking, stock car racing, and big time fun had by all. Joyce was always a prankster, just like her siblings, and when all the family got together, it was a free for all on who was going to get the 1st prank in. In 1985, Joyce and 8 family members went to Europe, poor Europe!! Austria was Joyce's favorite. In 2011, her daughter and son-in-law (Dawn and Bill Davidson) had a 80th birthday party for Joyce in La Jolla with over 120 family and friends in attendance. Joyce's grandchildren, Jonathan, Jameson and Barret, wrote a song, played instruments, and sang it for Joyce, everyone joined in on the singing of various songs and had a great time, it was a very special night.
Joyce loved the Lord, life, and her family. She will be missed so much.
