LORENZO "LARRY" CARRILLO

Lorenzo "Larry" Carrillo Valladolid was born on December 3, 1946 in Calexico, CA and passed away in his sleep on October 27, 2013 in Vancouver, Washington.
Larry was raised in El Centro and graduated from Central Union High in 1965 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science from San Diego State University in 1975.
Larry served his country as a member of the US Army before beginning an exemplary 30-year careeer in law enforcement. Larry retired in 2003 with the title of Senior Special Agent of the Immigrations, Customs and Enforcement (I.C.E.) Department, now known as the Homeland Security Department. During his long career, Larry also served with distinction with the US Border Patrol and the United States Immigration and Naturalization Services and received numerous accolades, commendations and awards on the national, state and local levels including a commendation from the office of United States Attorney General.
Larry is survived by sons, Steven Vincent Valladolid and Miguel Angel Valladolid; daughter, Alexandra Valladolid Quinn; sisters, Beatrice "Bebe" Pacheco and Mona Valladolid; as well as many nephews, nieces and other family.
Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents, Raul Valladolid and Maria Valladolid and beloved brother, Danny Valladolid.
Visitation will take place Saturday, November 9 from 8 to 10:15 a.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in El Centro and he will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
