Mickey Crosby of El Centro passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at ECRMC.
Mickey graduated from Central in 1974. After graduation Mickey started working for IVC where he worked for 33 years. He started as a custodian and became ground supervisor. He loved his Dodgers, as he called them "His Boys in Blue". He also loved his NASCAR and Off Road Racing, which he worked at Plaster City. On November 3, 1990 he married the love of his life, Debby Hisel. They were best friends as long as they were together, which was 23 years and 5 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Ruth Crosby; and father-in-law, Ernie Hisel.
He is survived by his wife, Debby of El Centro; daughter and granddaughter, Crystal and Michelle Alise York of El Centro; son, Chris Lee York of Hot Spring, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Jenell Rasco of Idabel, Oklahoma; uncle and aunt, Harold and Darlo Pebley of Cameron Park, CA; nieces, Tammy McCollough of Yuma, Vickie Jaminez of Yuma; nephews, Keith Kellner of Tomball, Texas, Kenneth Kellner of Roseville, CA; and his best bud Bud Cliff and all the crew at IVC.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 5 p.m. at Christ Community Church.
