MINOR RICHMOND LEE

Minor R. Lee 77, of Holtville passed away August 3, 2012 at UCSD, La Jolla.
Minor was born December 23, 1934 in Mc Crory, Arkansas. He attended Mc Crory High School in the 1940's. He then served in the Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, from 1957 to 1959 as Medical Specialist SP4. He later came to the Imperial Valley in the early 1960's. In 1961 he started Lee's Land Leveling Company. He then worked for Co Val & Tarmac construction companies. In 1992 he went to work for Granite Construction and first retired in January 1998 and finally retired in May 2006. After retirement he continued to do land laser work for various friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Lee; parents, Robert and Anna Mae Lee; sister-in-law, Carol Ann Lee and brother-in-law Charles Prowse.
He is survived by his wife, Erlinda Lee; daughters, Flora Foster of El Centro and Barbara Homan of Bellingham Washington; sons, Allan Lee (Malu) of Holtville, Bryan Lee (Liz) of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Sandy Lee (Sharon), Manuel Lee; sisters, Madge Burgess and Judy Prowse all of Oregon; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held on August 17, 2012 at the Eagle's Lodge at 661 State St. in El Centro from 10a.m. to 2p.m. Interment will be in Rogue River, Oregon.
