FRANCISCO MUÑOZ ORTIZ

Apr. 19, 1951 - Jan. 24, 2013

Francisco Ortiz, 61, of Brawley passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
He was born in Brawley on April 19, 1951. When Frank learned the Bible truths that changed his life he decided to dedicate his life to the one that he knew he owed everything to. Through the years he proved himself an honorable man and one with deep convictions. His love for his God knew no boundaries. At the time he became ill he knew there would be many challenges and tests. He proved he truly honored his beliefs and treasured his relationship with his God. He died knowing this was only temporary, and expressed he was only going away on an extended trip. His faith helped him to know he will awaken in the new system of things promised to all those that die loyally and faithfully. In the Resurrection he will be renewed and looked forward to being part of the beautification of this planet all for the glory of Jehovah God. Vivien Garcia writes: "I believe the most important conversation we ever had was the last few words we said to each other before he passed. I went to hug and kiss him and tell him that I love him and after telling me he loves me too, he looked me in the eye and said, "Remember what I told you, just do everything that Jehovah wants you to do..." I said, "I am dad, I promise" and I know that after saying his last words to me, my brother and my mom, he was at peace and ready... he was ready to fall asleep and satisfied in his heart that he was done with this life in this system of things. My dad most definitely died a faithfull servant to Jehovah, ready to see paradise in the new system.
He is survived by his wife, Clarissa Ortiz; children, Jonatan Francisco Ortiz, Vivien Christine Garcia; grandson, Anthony Garcia; siblings, Louie M. Ortiz, Lorenzo M. Ortiz, Joseph M. Ortiz, Christina Ruiz, Matilde Rodriguez, Yolanda Ortiz, Lucy Aguirre, Gloria Lopez, and countless nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
