Jesus Figueroa, 64, of Brawley passed away Friday, February 22.
He was born November 27, 1948 in Nacosari, Sonora, Mexico. Jesus worked for the Imperial County Road Department until he retired and continued on as a loving and dedicated grandfather to his three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Figueroa.
Jesus is survived by his children, Isabel Figueroa, Jesus Figueroa, and Guadalupe Stewart; mother, Teresa Monge; siblings, Lydia Figueroa, Leticia Sanchez, George Figueroa, David Figueroa, and Adriana Figueroa; son-in-law, Colby Stewart; grandchildren, Ralph Alarcon, Kristiana Stewart, Jamie Stewart; and various nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will take place Sunday, March 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, with rosary at 7 p.m.
Mass, officiated by Father Eddie Ruiz, will commence at 9 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley on Monday, March 4. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
