Isabel (Chavela) Nogales Franco, 78, She was carried away by Angels on February 13, 2013 to her final resting place following a short illness.
Chavela was born in Lintchfield Park, Arizona on November 2, 1934. Chavela and her family moved to Holtville, CA in 1950.
Chavela was known for her sense of humor, devotion to her family and caring personality. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed family gathering. She leaves behind beautiful memories with Reuben Yanez Franco her loving husband of 57 years who currently resides in Santa Maria, CA with all their children. They were high school sweethearts who married during Reuben's military leave while stationed in Korea. They resided in Holtville, CA until they moved to Santa Maria, in 1982. Chavela was a full time wife and mother. She felt that raising her children and running a household were the most important jobs that anyone could do. Her final days were spent with family by her side in Santa Maria, CA.
She will be looking over her husband Reuben Franco; children, Ronald (Ronnie) Franco, Randolph (Randy) Franco, Cynthia (Cindy) Franco Cuello, Reuben (Bobo) Franco, Lenora (Nori) Franco; numerous grandchildren,great -grandchildren, nephews and nieces; sisters, Lupe Acosta and Delores Ulloa. Chavela was preceded in death by her parents; father Manuel Nogales; Francisca (Panchita) Sotelo; sisters, Maria Moreno, Lucy Nogales; and brothers Frank Nogales, and Rudy Nogales.
