Mary Tillman Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kathryn Tillman, age 92, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Ronk Funeral Home with Brother Chris Rigby officiating. Interment will be in Oakview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Tillman passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Bells Nursing Home and Rehab Facility. She was born on July 19, 1923 in Gibson County to the late Arrie and Gladys Corbin Blasingame. She worked as a nurse and retired from Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Burdon Tillman; a son, Ronnie Tillman; brother, James Blasingame; sisters, Mildred Shelton, Pauline Shelton, Virginia Milam, Jean Bass, Nancy Zey, and Shirley Blasingame; son in law, Earl Prince.
Surviving relatives include her son, Larry Tillman (Marilyn); daughter, Susan Prince; brother, Jack Blasingame; grandchildren, Chad Tillman (Amy), Melissa Holyfield (Derek), Julie Messer (Brent) and Jill Prince; great-grandchildren, Lucy Tillman, Will, Halle, and Till Kathryn Holyfield, Baylor, Bryant and Barrett Messer.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held at Ronk Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Pallbearers for the service will be, Chad Tillman, Derek Holyfield, Brent Messer, Billy Wayne Hooper, Jimmy Hopkins, Steve Cooke and John Blankenship.

RIP Aunt Mary Kathryn , your love and kindness in your heart will never be forgotten by me. After dad moved to Chicago to find a job to relocate us to the city, I remember all the times that you would come over with the kids to visit Mom and our brood. Sad that by moving so far away it was hard to get back home. Your love and kindness lives on through your lovely daughter Susan.

RIP Aunt Mary Kathryn. You were one of my favorite Aunts and I always loved coming to your house when we were kids and lived in Tennessee and even after I moved away and came back for visits. Mom loved you and thought of you as a sister. You were so kind and such a special person. You raised 3 amazing kids. Say Hi to Daddy and the rest of the family in heaven. I love you and you will be missed greatly.
