Velma Mae Frazier
Pinson, TN - Graveside services for Mrs. Velma Mae Frazier, age 94, will be held 2 p.m., today, Monday, April 1, 2013 at Chester County Memory Gardens near Henderson, TN with Dr. Jimmy Bedwell officiating. Burial will follow with Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home of Jackson, TN in charge.
Mrs. Frazier died March 30, 2013 at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson, TN.
She was born in the Friendship Community of Chester County, TN, daughter of the late James Walter and Callie Naomi Brewer Stewart and grew up in the East Laurel Community of Madison County. Mrs. Frazier along with her late husband, Eston Lee Frazier had resided in Pinson, TN for many years. She was a member of Pinson Baptist Church for more than 50 years and participated in the WMU of the church. Mrs. Frazier was an avid homemaker enjoying gardening, canning fruits and vegetables and cooking, especially fried pies. She was very involved in community and church activities and served as Room Mother at Pinson School.
She leaves two daughters, Beverly Jean Denton and husband Brad, Brenda Kaye Cole and husband Michael all of Jackson; two grandchildren, Ryan Bradley Denton and Nathan Frazier Cole.
The family sends a special thank-you to the entire staff of Maplewood Healthcare for the excellent care given to Mrs. Frazier.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. til 1 p.m., Monday at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, 731-424-2424

Beverly & Kaye, I have so many wonderful memories of Velma! we spent so many fun hours running thru her house & at times it seemed she was just one of us kids! She was one of a kind & I know you will all miss her so much.
