Floyd Cornelius Henley

Floyd Cornelius Henley, age 74 of Humboldt, TN, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

A private family graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. It was his wishes that there be no visitation.

He was born June 20, 1938 in Covington, TN to the late Samuel and Hallie Henley. e was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joyce Petty of Humboldt; two brothers, Roy Henley and Herbert Henley of Humboldt.

He was a graduate of Humboldt High School and served in the United States Navy. Floyd was the owner/operator of Henley Printing Company for 30 years, was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a great supporter of the City of Humboldt.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha Campbell Henley. He has three daughters: Leticia Henley Vailes of Humboldt, Joy Henley Jeter (Tracy) of Jackson and Sandra Henley Spencer (Eddie) of Humboldt; four grandchildren: Ben Jeter, Blair Graves, Hallie Spencer and Sadie Spencer; one great-grandchild: Aubrey Taylor Grace Graves. He is also survived by two brothers, Carlton Henley of Florida and George Henley of Jackson. He has many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved dearly.
