Louie T. Jobe, Sr.
Services for Mr. Louie T. Jobe, Sr. will be at the gravesite in Hollywood Cemetery on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 12 Noon, with the Rev. Gary Snuffin officiating.
Mr. Jobe of Greenfield, formerly of Jackson, passed away quietly at the Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Humboldt on Saturday, December 1, 2012 after a long illness.
Mr. Jobe was a World War II
veteran and retired from the insurance business and Murray Guard. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Oakville Lodge 599 F&AM.
He is survived by his children, Louie Jr., Douglas, Gregory and Cheryl; daughters-in-law, Angela, Susan and Linda, and grandchildren, John, Eric, Seth, Kelly, Bryan, Alison and Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty; loving sister, Mary Rice and twin grandsons, Ian and Evan Jobe.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Wounded Warriors Project or The West Tennessee Area Council, Boy Scouts of America in Mr. Jobe's name.
His love, strength and humor will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
