Jimmy Fay "Crazy" Pierce
Funeral services for Jimmy Fay "Crazy" Pierce will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Meridian Baptist Church with Brother Ronnie Wilburn and Brother John Enoch officiating.
Jimmy died March 29, 2014 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on October 29, 1943 to the late Willie and Janet King Pierce. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Frankie King (Bud) Pierce; his grandparents, Jim and Matt Brewer Pierce, Jesse and Kate David King.
Jimmy was a member of Meridian Baptist Church where he loved to worship, and Woodland Hills Country Club where he loved to play golf. He was an avid golfer, loved all sports, and playing dominos. Jimmy loved life and was a very loving grandfather.
He was married to Betty Bailey on December 29, 1978. Jimmy owned Ace Siding and had been in the siding business for 40 years.
Survivors are his loving wife, Betty; sons, Reggie Pierce (Kelli) and Johnny Johnson; daughter, Lisa Joyner (Doug); his 11 wonderful grandchildren, Alexis, Ben, Kara, Nic, Cole, Allie, Heath, Grayce, Morgan, Autumn and Mack; along with many friends.
Also surviving are his twin sister, Mona Kay Pierce Pounds (Kerry), Hazel Pierce Staples, Peggy Pierce Tomes; brother, Travis "Rabbit" Pierce (Sherry).
Pallbearers will be Marty Pierce, Joey Pierce, Lowell Beller, Billy Pierce, Burt Staples Tim Tomes, and his two grandsons, Ben and Nic Joyner. Honorary Pallbearers will be his golfing buddies, domino buddies, and his employees.
Burial will follow at Big Springs Cemetery at Five Points-Pinson.

Visitation will be at Meridian Baptist Church on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12 noon til 2 p.m.
