Raymond Earl Snowflakes Weddle
Memphis, TN - Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Earl Tucker "Snowflakes" Weddle will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10 a.m., at M.J. Edwards Whitehaven Funeral Chapel, 5994 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN 38116. Visitation will begin Friday, November 15, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Mr. Raymond Earl Tucker Weddle attended the Jackson Madison County School System. A graduate of Merry High School in 1964. He also attended and graduated from Lane College with a Degree in Education. Raymond had a passion for teaching and football. He taught and coached football at Fayette Ware for many years. Raymond later moved to Memphis, where he continued to teach and coach in the Memphis School System until retirement.
Raymond passed away quietly on November 7, 2013 at his home.
Raymond was preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Minnie Weddle, and an older brother, Leroy Weathers.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Bonnie; two daughters, Shawn (Jim), Tamekela (Willie); a son, Raymond Jr.; five brothers, Floyd (Pearlie) Weddle of Detroit, MI, Freddie (Jean) Weddle, James (Deborah) Weddle, Jr. of Jackson, TN, Glenn Weddle of Jackson, TN, Nicky Lee (Wyconda) Weddle of Seattle, WA; three sisters, Laretha (John) Franklin, Darlene (Vernon) Weathers, Diane (Walter) Long, all of Jackson, TN; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom loved him dearly.
