James Brennan Duke

Funeral services for James Brennan Duke, age 19, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday at the Corinth Baptist Church with Bro. Lavaughn Moody and Bro. Steve Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in the Duke Memorial Cemetery in the Darden Community. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of the arrangements.

Brennan, a freshman at the University of Tennessee at Martin, died early Saturday morning, March 26, 2011, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was a 2010 graduate of Riverside High School and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Keith and Mary Beth Franks Duke and his sister, Tianita Duke all of Darden, grandparents: Bro. Don and Rebecca Franks of Decaturville and J.C. and Linda Duke Darden; great grandmother, Estelee Scates of Yuma; an aunt, Kim (Ron) Dunlevy of Nesbitt, MS and two uncles, Kent Duke of Lexington and Don Franks Jr. (Mecca) of Decaturville. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Abbey Grace Dunlevy. Online condolences for the family may be sent to www.paffordfuneralhome.com.
