Lesh, Jr.

Henry Stegall Lesh, Jr., known to his close friends and family as "Buster", passed away suddenly at his home in Eads, Tennessee on Thursday, March 14, 2014.

Henry graduated from Jackson High School, class of 1967, and from Lambuth University. He worked with his father, Henry, for many years at the Memphis Motorola Service Center, Logan Lesh Communications. Later he opened his own business, Lesh Radio Systems, and was very successful in the field of communications.

Piloting a private plane was a lifelong pleasure. Henry also enjoyed boating, reading and nature. He served as a volunteer pilot for the Pilots and Paws, organization, a group that arranges for rescue dogs to be flown to their new families.

Henry was preceded in death by his father, Henry Stegall Lesh, Sr. and his mother, Edith June McMurry Lesh.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Lesh of Memphis, Tennessee, and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Lesh Borleske and Steve of Wilmington, Delaware, and Patricia Lesh Barbarita and Bob of Lehigh Acres, Florida. Mr. Lesh also leaves behind 5 nieces and nephews, and 7 great-nieces and nephews. He will be missed his beloved dachshund, Roscoe.

Funeral Services for Henry will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 11 a.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m., one hour prior to the service.
