Bobby Martindale

Graveside services for Mr. Bobby Martindale, age 66, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Highland Memorial Gardens, with Military Rites at the graveside. Dr. Jerry Welch will be officiating. Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Martindale died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in Madison County, TN to Mrs. Norma Lee Vincent Martindale and the late Robert Bryan Martindale, Jr. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines, serving in Vietnam, was a member of the VFW, former owner of Papa & Toots Deli and a truck driver. Mr. Martindale was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and was married to the late Anita Martindale.

Other than his father and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Leanne Martindale.

Surviving are his mother, Norma Lee Martindale of Jackson; his sons, Robert Bryan Martindale, IV of Trenton and Thomas Henley of Oakfield; his sister, Linda Hayes and husband, Tom of Jackson and his grandchildren, Kirby Woodruff Martindale, Chandler Martindale and Amara Henley.

Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
