Clovis Potts

Clovis Bryan Potts (affectionately called Potts), age 84, passed away at his daughter's home surrounded by family on August 16, 2014. Potts was born in Wingo, Kentucky and lived most of his life in West Tennessee and the Tampa Bay area.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, August 23rd at Highlands Memorial Gardens, 3360 N. Highland Ave., Jackson, TN. Memorial donations may be made to Unity Hospice Care, P.O. Box 584, Lexington, TN 38351.

Potts is survived by his best friend (dog), Cowboy; daughter, Linda (Ed) Erath of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Jennifer Storts of Land O Lakes, Florida; grandson, Shawn Storts; sister, Wanda Ford; niece, Sandra Maxedon; niece, Dotty Weber and nephew, Dan Newburn.

Potts was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. He was a jokester and always made us laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend William and Alma Potts; his wife, Carolyn Millsap Potts and his son, Jessie Potts.
