She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County where she was a homemaker. Sharon worked for Tri-States Automotive Warehouse for several years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lela Mayo; her best friend, Carolyn Mountz, both of Round Lake. Survivors include one son, James Russell Parmer and finance' Alysha of Alford; one daughter, Terri E. Busby and husband, Andy of Marianna; two brothers, Johnny Stephens and wife, Cindy of New Iberia, LA., Terry Stephens and wife, Paula, of Sneads; sisters, Lydia Barnes of Alford, Dianne Porter and husband, Larry, of Marianna, Cherryl Turner and husband, Dean, of Fountain; three grandchildren, Jim, Hunter and Presli Busby; brother-in-law, Eddie Mayo. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at Round Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Round Lake Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
