Anna I. Wilkerson
Anna "Isie" I. Wilkerson, 92, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Cumberland Pointe, West Lafayette. Anna was born on April 30, 1922 to the late Vannie and Inez Bragg Simmans. On February 15, 1940, she married Paul Wilkerson in Fowler, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1996. Anna spent her years as a housewife, taking care of her family. She enjoyed her pets and her flower garden.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Sandra (Anthony) Venezia of Lafayette and Linda Klinger of Otterbein; 4 grandchildren, Jill (Mike) Hufford of Rossville, Jeff Sanders of Lafayette, Chris Klinger of Lafayette, and Matt (Miranda) Klinger of Pine Village; 8 great grandchildren, Amy (Ryan), McKenna, Morgan, Daisy, Gavin, Greyson, CJ, and Fayela; and 2 great great grandchildren, Scarlett and Sienna. She was preceded in death by one brother, David Simmans.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Almost Home Humane Society. You may Light a Candle of Hope in remembrance of Anna by visiting www.fisherfuneralchapel.com
