Bonnie J. Wolf
ATTICA — Bonnie Jane (Trent) Wolf, 64, Attica, passed away at her residence, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 12:20 a.m. She had been in ill health for the past three years.
Bonnie was born in Lafayette, Indiana, on September 24, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Thelma Louise (Riley) Trent. In her early years, Bonnie was raised in Flora and later moved to Yeoman, where she lived on Lake Freeman. She graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1967. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Masters Degree in Education from Indiana State University.
In 1971, Bonnie began teaching six grade at the Attica Elementary School. She taught six grade for 38 years, retiring in 2009.
Bonnie was a member of the Attica First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She was a former member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority in Attica. Her passion was following Indiana University
Men's Basketball. Her love was her family and spending time with her granddaughters, Avery and Aubry. They loved to play "school" and Bonnie enjoyed reading and taking spring break trips to Treasure Island, FL with the family.
On February 26, 1972, Bonnie married Ralph "R.J." Wolf in Monticello.
She leaves behind her husband of 41 years, along with two daughters, Amy Howard and Jennifer Wolf, both of Attica; a sister, Shirley Trent, Monticello and two granddaughters, Avery and Aubry Cole of Attica.
Family and friends may gather at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, October 23rd from 4:00 p.m. until the memorial service time at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Janet Luchs officiating. Private family inurnment of Bonnie will be held at a later date in the Bethel Cemetery, east of Attica.
