Doris A. "Dodo" (Misner) Davis, 91, of Lafayette, passed away in her home on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Born April 4, 1922 in Crawfordsville, IN, she was the daughter of the late Cleve and Margaret (Baker) Misner.

Doris married James J. Davis on February 19, 1955 in Lebanon, IN and he preceded her in death on June 22, 1987. She worked at Alcoa Aluminum during WWII and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, flower gardening, taking family members mushroom hunting, and pickling cucumbers. Her biggest thrill was her grandchildren.

Surviving are her brother, Lawrence W. Misner (wife, Dorothy) of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Ashlie D. Olp (husband, Doug McCullough) of Carmel, IN, Nicole C. Elmhurst (husband, Dan) of Folsom, CA and G. Nathan Olp of Indianapolis; three great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Jocelyn and Madeline; her niece, Sharon Misner, who was like a daughter and cared for Doris the past several years, and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra L. Olp and seven brothers.
