Dustin L. Tetzloff

Dustin L. Tetzloff, 39, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 4:55 p.m. at St. Elizabeth East Hospital as the result of injuries suffered from a motorcycle accident. Born July 7, 1973 in Lafayette, he was the son of Andy A. and Vickie Lee (Miller) Tetzloff of Lafayette. He was an Eagle Scout and a 1992 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. He attended Purdue University.

Dustin married Misty Mundell on June 29, 1996 in Lafayette and she survives. He had worked at SIA for 20 years and was a partner in Tetzloff Housing in Lafayette. He was a member of Ouiatenon Sportsman Club, Tippecanoe Masonic Lodge #492, Sons of American Legion Post #492, and he and his family are supported by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed camping, bonfires, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. But more importantly, he cherished the time with his two sons and their activities.

Surviving with his wife and parents are his two children, Chase (age 12) and Cole (age 10) Tetzloff both at home, his brother Brandin Tetzloff (fiancée, Candice Gentry) of Lafayette, his wife's parents, Ron and Linda Mundell, sister-in-law Mindy Farrell (husband, Doug), brother-in-laws Shane Mundell (wife, Jody) and Tim Mundell (wife, Renee) all of Lafayette, grandmothers Amanda Criswell and Terri Kinzer both of Lafayette, nieces Courtney and Jayda, nephews Nick, Zach, and Collin, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Hippensteel Funeral Home, with Masonic Services at 7 p.m. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Dr. Jacob Hoffman officiating. Burial to follow at Spring Vale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chase and Cole Trust Fund c/o Regions Bank.
