Helen Mae Healey, 87

Helen Mae Healey, 87, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Rensselaer Care Center. She was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer.

Helen was born on December 4, 1925, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Montgomery) Epler, both deceased.

Helen attended Rensselaer schools. On November 18, 1942, she married Robert L. Healey and he preceded her in death on May 25, 1991.

Helen was a housewife and homemaker and worked along side her husband on the family farm. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Rensselaer.

She is survived by her loving children; Judy K (James) Lanoue, Denny L (Susan) Healey and Robert Kenneth (Maureen) Healey, all of Rensselaer;

8 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; a sister Vivian Lowry of Francesville; and 3 sister-in-laws, Allene "Shorty", Arlos and Eldena.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 sister and 4 brothers; a great-granddaughter Anna Healey and a great-grandson Brock Bozell.

Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 9 to noon with funeral services following at noon at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Renselaer. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rensselaer.
