Melody R. (Dill) Foster-Meyer
Attica - Melody Reneé (Dill) Foster-Meyer, 50, formerly of Attica and had been living in Clayton, IN, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Clayton, on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 9:10 a.m.
Melody was born in Williamsport, IN, on June 28, 1962. She was the daughter of Sandra Sue (Yates) Dill and Charles VanLaere of Attica and the late Harold Max Dill. She was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1980. She has resided in Hendricks County since 2002.
Melody was an avid animal lover and had a big heart for stray animals that she cared for. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and birds. Spring time was her favorite season of the year. She also enjoyed antiquing and crafts.
She was formerly married to Donnie Foster. On June 14, 2003, Melody married Patrick Michael Meyer in Clayton. He survives.
Melody leaves behind her husband, Patrick, and two children, Devin (Rebekah) Foster, Indianapolis, and Brittani Foster, Attica; a stepdaughter, Amy (Dustin) McDaniel, Attica; a sister, Misty (Travis) Ward, Attica; two grandchildren, Brianna Bainbridge, Attica, and Brilee Foster, Martinsville, IN; two nephews, Matthew Howard and Eric Abert, Attica. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Max Dill, and her grandparents, Pauline & George Waterstraat.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, February 20th, 4:00-8:00 p.m. There will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Paws & Claws Animal Shelter in Attica or to the Attica Elementary Special Education Program. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
