Noah Vaughn-Linderer, 7

Noah Vaughn-Linderer, 7, of Mulberry, died in his home as the result of injuries from a house fire at his home on Saturday, December 29, 2012. Noah was born May 14, 2005 at Home Hospital in Lafayette, the son of Gregory Linderer and Victoria Vaughn of Mulberry. He was a 1st grader at Clinton Prairie Elementary and loved school, especially reading, mathematics, and spelling. Noah played on the Mulberry Gophers T-ball team where his father is the coach. Noah loved his church and was a member of Victory Christian Center. In addition, he loved all sports, playing video games, and he especially loved his family and the family dogs and cats.

Surviving with his parents, Gregory and Victoria, is a brother, Avery Vaughn-Wallace at home, his maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Randall and Sylvia Vaughn of Lafayette, his maternal grandmother, Susan Linderer (companion: Dan Muller) of Fowler, his paternal great-grandmother, Joyce Linderer of Lafayette, two maternal uncles, Michael and Christopher Vaughn both of Indianapolis, and paternal uncle and aunt, Chad Smith and Amanda Linderer both of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, an aunt, Laura Vaughn, and a great uncle, Jerry Vaughn.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Friday at Hippensteel Funeral Home with the service beginning at 11 a.m. in Hippensteel Chapel with Pastor Bill and Pam Mickler officiating.
