
Ralph E. Keegan, 71
Ralph E. "Top Hat" Keegan, 71, of Lafayette, died at 2:06 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at St. Elizabeth East.
He was born January 5, 1941, in Chicago, to Howard "Butch" Keegan and Helen Bowers Keegan.
He was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. Mr. Keegan was employed by ALCOA as a machinist in the tube mill dept. from June 1, 1959 to February 1, 2003 when he retired.
His hobbies were collecting guns, bowling, cooking, watching NASCAR and time spent with his family.
Surviving Children are: Phillip Singler, wife Donna, Mike Singler, wife Missy, Regina Singler, Wendy Kincaid, husband Brett, Margeret Keegan, Shawn Keegan, wife Darcy; Cousins, Marsha Lemond and Ralph Brand. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service, 10 a.m. Monday, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel; Officiating Rev. Guy Studebaker. Burial will be at Pyrmont Cemetery.
Preceded in death by Howard L. Keegan and Helen M. Keegan.
