Rocco James DiVello, 25

Rocco James DiVello, 25, of Lafayette passed away on June 1, 2013, at 4:10 p.m. at his residence. Rocco was born on March 7, 1988, in South Kingstown, RI to James K. DiVello and Debra A. (Collins) Lovvorn, and they survive. Rocco was a 2006 graduate of Benton Central High School. He worked as a carpenter for his father's business, J.D. Contracting. Rocco was in Building Trades, enjoyed BMX Biking, loved his dog, Otis, and enjoyed taking him swimming. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephews.

Surviving along with his father, James K. (fiancé: Kim Davis) DiVello, mother, Debra A. (husband: James) Lovvorn are three siblings, Brandy DiVello of Montmorenci, Megan (husband: Todd) Salsbury of Rossville, and Lee Vessels of Lafayette, and two step-brothers, Jarrett Embrey of Delphi, and J.D. Embrey of Delphi. Also surviving is one niece, Molly Salsbury, and two nephews, Mason Slasbury, and Ashton Hayden, and his paternal grandparents, Bill & Linda DiVello of Marathon, FL, and maternal grandparents, Bill Collins of Lafayette, and Daisy Burnette of Lafayette.

He is preceded in death by his paternal Nana, Susanne Brown.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one half-hour prior to the service at Simplicity Funeral Care.
