Theresa M. (Hubertz) Foreman, 70, of West Lafayette, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at IU Health Arnett Hospital. Born September 7, 1942 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Mangan) Hubertz. She was a 1960 graduate of Earl Park High School and attended Indiana Business College.
Theresa married Richard W. Foreman on August 11, 1962 in St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2012.
Most recently Theresa worked at the West Lafayette Walmart in the photo lab and ladies apparel departments. Prior, she retired from Kmart in West Lafayette where she was the electronics department manager. And before that, Theresa worked for 7 years at General Foods and served as the Clarks Hill town clerk for 4 years.
She was a member of Church of the Blessed Sacrament in West Lafayette and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, playing the piano and working crossword and word search puzzles.
Surviving are her children: a daughter Kathleen M. Heemstra (husband, N. Blake) of West Lafayette, two sons, Christopher A. Foreman (wife, Cut Amalia) of West Lafayette and Michael L. Foreman (companion, Angela Riley) of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Ann Hubertz of Jasper, Arkansas and Kate Yankauskas (husband, Mike) of Grovertown, IN; and three brothers, Jim Hubertz (wife, Juanita), Joe Hubertz (wife, Anne), and Tony Hubertz all of Lafayette. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Matthew (wife, Tammy), Brandon (companion, Debbie McDaniels) and Kayla Heemstra, Vincent (wife, Jennifer), Logan, and Elliott Foreman, and a great-granddaughter Sophie Autumn Foreman.
Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Friday, with recitation of the Rosary at 5:00 p.m., at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 10 a.m., at Church of the Blessed Sacrament, with Father David Buckles officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
