Alice Joy Brown, 74

Flora - Alice Joy Brown, 74, was called home on Feb. 28, 2013, at her home in Flora.

Alice Joy was born to the late Russell and Jane (Latta) Sigman on Jan. 2, 1939, in Yeoman. She was a 1957 graduate of Monticello High School.

Alice Joy married Richard L. Brown on May 10, 1975, at the Yeoman United Methodist Church and he survives.

She retired in June 2001 from Peters-Revington after 43 years. She was in the invoice and labeling dept.

She was a member of the Living Faith Church of the Brethren in Flora and a member of the choir and served on several church committees.

She enjoyed doing needlepoint and making samplers.

Surviving along with her husband, Richard; are her brothers-in-law: Larry Marshall of Brownsville, Texas, and Victor Brown (wife: Susan) of Delphi; sister-in-law: Betty Beale (husb: John) of Delphi; and several nieces and nephews. Alice Joy was preceded by her brother, Dale Sigman and sister, Doris Marshall.

Viewing will be on Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 3-6 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi with services there on Monday, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Tomsen officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Living Faith Church of the Brethren, Flora. Online condolences at www.davidsonfh.com.
