Anna Fern married Levaughn Fletcher, January 18, 1936. They lived in Boswell, where she worked as a telephone operator. They then moved to a farm south of Fowler where they raised their family. In 1973 they moved to Fowler and Anna Fern worked at the Fowler Elementary School cafeteria until her retirement. She was a wonderful cook and spent many fun times with her granddaughters in the kitchen. She also loved to garden and grow her beautiful flowers and share them with friends and neighbors. Anna Fern was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fowler for over 50 years, where she served as an elder. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by her daughter, Arleta (Bruce) Breeden of Carmel, Indiana, four granddaughters, Molly (Cory) Clark of Franklin, Tennessee, Meghan (David) Ferens of Noblesville, Indiana, Mallory (Billy) Lynch of Fishers, Indiana and Leslie Phillpott of Largo, Florida. The family would like to thank the staff of Greenhill Manor for their love and care for our sweet mom and grandma for the last five years.
