Bonnie J. Carman 82, of Burlington passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1:20 pm at her home. She was born May 7, 1930 in Frankfort, Indiana to Ora Gail and Tola (Sheets) Gray. On September 5, 1946 she married Max Carman and he passed away on July 28, 2012.
Bonnie attended Frankfort High School and was Co/owner of Carman Lounge & Restaurant in Rossville. She was a member of Burlington United Methodist Church. Bonnie and Max had been very active in the Burlington community with the Burlington Community Club. Bonnie loved baking, cooking, and brought a lot of recipes and family to Kristen Delights. She also taught oil painting classes for years at her home.
Survivors include her children Nick (Marilyn) Carman of Fishers, Ron (Renita) Carman of Cutler, Tamie (Scott) Arnett of Cutler; grandchildren Stacie Munger, Stephanie Woods, Kim Schone, Catressa Carman, Casey Carman, Kristen Miller, Craig Arnett, Kyle Arnett; five great-grandchildren and one due in October; brother Gilbert Gib Gary of Cutler.
Preceded in death by her parents Ora and Tola Gray; husband Max Carman; sister Doris Skiles; brother Leon Gray, Bob Gray; one great-granddaughter Delainey Taber.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11 am at Stout & Son Funeral Home Neptune Chapel, 44 Michigan St., in Burlington with Steve Cole and Mark Miller officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Burlington Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to
