Dr. James Allen "Jim" Clark, D.C., age 50, of Attica, IN, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Born December 17, 1961 in Rensselaer, IN, he was the son of the late Thomas H. and Ethel P. (Pray) Clark. He graduated from Rensselaer Central High School in 1980, attended Purdue University for two years and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985. He owned Clark Chiropractic Care in Lafayette for nearly 26 years.
Dr. Clark married Debbi Green on May 14, 1994 in Lafayette and she survives. He attended the Attica Free Methodist Church. He was active in Martial Arts and studied Tai Jitsu at Bujinkan Dojo. He was also trained in Akido and Jui Jitsu. He was an outdoorsman and an open water diver.
Surviving with his wife are their two daughters, Lexie Clark and Meriah Green-Wright both at home and his three sisters, Linda Clark (husband, Patrick Blakesley) of Bristol, IN, Susan Clark of San Diego, CA, and Chris Murray of Battleground. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Gatlin Wright, his father-in-law, Dr. L. W. Green, and a nephew, Jon T. Green.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral service 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastors Don Whipple, Bobby Kirkley, and Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial to follow at West Point Cemetery.
