Lloyd D. Holsinger, 88, of rural Delphi, died Sat.-Dec. 21, 2013 at 4:05pm at Milner Community Healthcare of Rossville. He was born Dec. 20, 1925 in Modesto, CA, to the late David & Eliza Estella Boyd Holsinger. His marriage was to Mary E. Yoder, at her parents farm in Carroll County, on Oct. 10, 1948, and they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year, and she survives. He attended Rossville High School. He was a member of the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church near Camden. He worked at Zinn Kitchen Cabinets for 40 years, retiring from there. He and his wife wintered in Lakeland, FL for 14 years, and he enjoyed woodworking. Surviving: wife-Mary E. Holsinger of Delphi; daughters-Sharol & Roland Kessler of Rossville, Wanda & Kent Brubaker of Birnamwood, WI, Teresa & Dennis Garber of West Manchester, OH; sister-Ruth Blocher of Flora; sisters-in-law-Viola Holsinger of Pendleton, IN, Rosa Brovont of Goshen, Naomi & Keith Wagoner of North Manchester, IN; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by 4 brothers; 2 sisters; a grandson Wade Garber. Services: Friends may call Thursday from 2-5:30pm and 6-8pm at Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church-Camden. Funeral service there Friday 10am, home brethren officiating, burial at Musselman Cemetery-Camden. Abbott Funeral Home-Delphi in charge of arrangements.
