Manuel Lino Mejia-Lamas, 36, of Fowler, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in a farm accident in Benton County.
Manuel was born on March 2, 1976 in Tequila, Mexico to Casimiro Mejia-Santos and Maria Guadalupe-Lamas-Roman.
On January 23, 2003, he married Marisol Quezada-Martinez in Moyahue, Zacatecas, Mexico and she survives.
Manuel worked for Seven Hills Dairy Farm in Goodland.
He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Manuel loved music ("Cornelio Reyua") "Ausente", fishing, and making friends.
Manuel is survived by his mother, wife, and children, Jesus Mejia-Quezada and Aron Mejia-Quezada at home. Also surviving are siblings Jose Lin Mejia-Lamas, Elida Mejia-Lamas, Ismael Mejia-Lamas all of Mexico, and Raul Mejia-Lamas of California.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, July 1st at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday with Father Gustavo officiating. Interment will be in El Salvador, Mexico.
