James L. "Jim" Geier, 57, also known as Auggie, of rural Brazil, died unexpectedly Tues.-Apr. 8, 2014 at 5:38am at his residence. He was born Apr. 19, 1956 to William L. Geier, and his late mother Connie A. Williams Geier. His marriage was to Tina L. Penn in Burrows, on June 4, 1983, and she survives. He was a 1974 graduate of Twin Lakes High School, and received his degree in construction management from Almeda University. He worked construction and excavating his entire life. He was a member of the I.U.O.E. local #841 of Terre Haute. He enjoyed going on rides on his Harley with his wife, through the country side, taking in all that nature would give, and whatever wild animals they saw. He enjoyed their property in the country, maintaining their pond, and feeding all of the fish they stocked it with. He enjoyed fishing, and anything outdoors'. He was an extremely hard worker, and very dedicated to whatever life put in front of him. Surviving: wife-Tina L. Geier of Brazil; father & stepmother-William "Bill" & Marsha Geier of Monticello; brother-William K. "Billy" Geier of Monticello; mother-in-law-Norma Penn of Camden; cousins, aunts & uncles. Preceded in death by his mother Connie; inf. brother; brother-in-law Louis. Services: Friends may call Friday at Abbott Funeral Home-Delphi, from 11am until his celebration of life service at 1pm there. Rev. Ed Selvidge officiating, burial at Paint Creek Cemetery-Camden.
