Lucille A. Kraimer McCarthy, 86, of Owensboro, died on August 3, 2014. She was born on May 8, 1928 in Kennan, WI to the late Frank and Anna Ellman Kraimer. Lucille was retired from the Indiana Veterans' Home as a Trust Officer and attended Immaculate Catholic Church. She was a game board fanatic who also enjoyed reading, gardening, and road tripping. Most of all she loved her family and the time she spent with them.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, William Woodrow McCarthy; her parents; a brother, Harold Kraimer; and two sisters, Helen Zikan and Elsie Kraimer.

Survivors include a son, Patrick McCarthy (Karen) of Indianapolis; three daughters, Barbara Beinke (David) of Carlsbad, CA, Carol Morris (Philip) of Owensboro, and Michele Lein (Robert Nicholson) of Owensboro; two sisters, Sylvia Pierrard and Theresa Collins; grandchildren, Alesa Dienhart, Michal DeChellis, Andrea McCarthy, Meghan McCarthy, Elaine McCarthy, Kristen Ducusin, Jennifer Beinke, Erin Jones, and Kevin Morris; great-grandchildren, Adam, Evan, and Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church. Inurnment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
