Stacy L. Brown

Stacy Lyn Brown was welcomed into heaven on September 2, 2017. Her final hours were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Stacy was born September 15, 1976, in Lafayette, Indiana to Hank and Suzann (Hendryx) Brouwer. She graduated from Harrison High School in 1994. She continued her education at Ball State University, graduating in 1998 with a degree in finance. In 2000, Stacy married the love of her life, Jason Brown.

Stacy worked at Purdue University for 18 years. Her most recent position was Director of Financial Affairs for the Office of the Executive VP for Research and Partnerships. She was an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Stacy enjoyed reading, musicals, and spending time with friends and family. Her greatest joy came from being farmer Brown's wife and mom to her two sons.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, Stacy is survived by two precious sons, Max and Mason; Maternal Grandmother, Mable Hendryx; In-Laws, Gary and Teresa Brown, and Susan Brown; a brother and his spouse, Jon and Alisa Brouwer; nieces, Taylor and Hannah Brouwer; her siblings in-love and numerous other nieces and nephews, Godchildren, and friends whom Stacy loved dearly.

Stacy is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, JD Hendryx; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth Brouwer.

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, September 7 from 4-9 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Rosary beginning at 3:45 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 8 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Rite of Interment to follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Max and Mason's college education with check made payable to The Stacy L. Brown Memorial Fund. Please make reference to Jason P. Brown on the memo line.
