Glen R. Stevens, 82

Glen Stevens was called home on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at 10:55 a.m. at St. Francis Hospital, South Campus in Indianapolis.

Glen was born in Temple Hill, Ky., on Dec. 6, 1930, to the late Bedford and Laura (Cook) Stephens.

He was previously married to Ruby Dicks for 40 years and she survives. His former companion of 18 years, Elva Graves also survives.

Mr. Stevens worked for 10 years at Farm Bureau Co-op Feed & Grain in Bringhurst, 10 years for Whiteman Brothers Feed and Grain in Delphi, and 2 years at Wilson's Packing Co. in Logansport.

Glen enjoyed fishing and hunting everything from ginseng, mushrooms, deer, squirrel, rabbit and raccoons. He was a member of the bowling league in Delphi for several years and also enjoyed coon hunting tournaments.

Surviving are his Daughters: Connie Catt (husb: Darrell) of Indianapolis, Mary Ann Cave (husb: Mark) of Pollard, Ark.; Daughter-in-law, Judy Stevens of Camden; Siblings: Oma Kite, Thomas Stephens (wife: Ruby), Vonda Gentry, Claudine Heid (husb: Danny) and Raymon Stephens (wife: Wanda); Grandchildren: Travis (wife: Angie), Dustin, Brandy Bumbleburg (husb: Allen), Sunshine Payne and Mark Cave, Jr. and many who called him grandpa; Great-Grandchildren: Skylar, Jeffery, Katelyn and many others.

He was preceded by his daughter, Betty A., his son, Darrell G.; a great-grandson, Peyton Stevens; Brothers: Ray, Paul, James, Martin, Willie George and Randall Stephens; Sisters: Annie Spears, Marie "Irene" Ferguson, Eva "Margie" Stephens and Ella Mae Wright.

Viewing will be at Davidson Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. with services on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home in Delphi with Pastor Jerry Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Musselman Cemetery near Camden.
